Speed Humps

The need for additional speed humps in the neighborhood was noted and the project was launched in 2016. After the initial locations of the humps were identified, various deliberations took place to ascertain if there are any objections. Some of the speed humps were moved a few meters, and soon after no further objections were received.

At a cost of R 182,742.00 six speed humps were installed in Makou, Edelvalk, Veldpou, Steenloper, Piet-my-vrou and Windswavel Streets.

We thank Civil Concepts (Pty) Ltd and Hoyer Construction for the good work they have done. The quality and efficiency in implementing these speed humps were notable.
